Sandra Oliver ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory on Mar. 17, 2026.Sandra Wilborn Oliver ("Nannie"), age 87, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away on March 15, 2026.Born in Thomaston, Georgia, Sandra was a spitfire from the start. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. She worked for many years as a mortgage processor, but let's be honest- her real calling was being "Nannie". She enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending cherished time with family. If there was somewhere to go or something to laugh about, Sandra was already loading up the car.Sandra was an active member of Cokes Chapel, where she prayed, volunteered, and cheered on everyone else as if they were family, too. She loved being part of both church and company softball teams, and her joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met.She created a home where everyone felt welcome and loved. Sandra never met a stranger, and you couldn't leave her house hungry if you tried. She was the kind of woman who'd say exactly what she thought, hand you a plate of food while doing it, and then hug your neck before you left.Sandra is survived by her loving daughter, Sherrie Kemmerer (Jeff); a grandson she bragged about to everyone, Spencer Kemmerer (Toya); and three great-grandsons-Kayden, Tucker, and Stetson-who could melt her heart with one grin. She is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews who'll miss her dearly.She's up in Heaven now catching up with her Best Friend, Louis Oliver; her brother, Lamar Wilborn; and her parents, Harold and Jewel Wilborn. We figure there is laughter, hugging, and many more adventures.The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 2 - 4 pm at McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Billy Earle and Rev. Carson Thaxton officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Rd., Newnan, GA.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Cokes Chapel, a place Sandra loved deeply and served faithfully.She may be gone from sight, but Nannie sure left her mark-on hearts, on memories, and probably a few good meals.
