Sandra Prather

Sandra Prather, 75, of Rushville, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on October 23, 1950, in Rushville, she was the daughter of the late Harley Parsano Jr. and Mildred Pauline Bowman. She married Richard (Rick) Prather on June 16, 1968, in Schuyler County.

She is survived by her husband, Rick; sons Nick Prather (Missy) of Springfield, Illinois, and Brett Prather of Beardstown, Illinois; brother-in-law Larry Trone; sisters Sharon Gossage, Sally Toland (Jim), and Rissa Parsano; eight grandchildren, Casey, Cole, Connor, Tyler, Lyric Wingerter (Ben), Jack, Jayden, and Kope Prather; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Sue Trone and brother-in-law Stan Gossage.

Sandra found quiet joy in reading, following harness racing, and most of all, in the company of her family.
