She was the beloved wife of the late Leon Gorgizian, with whom she shared 46 cherished years of marriage.Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Rita (Thibodeau) Lekarcyk. She was the loving mother of Eric Gorgizian and the late Shawn Gorgizian; sister of Joyce and Kevin Lekarcyk, and the late Linda Laliberty and Sharon LaCroix. Sandra also leaves many cherished nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.Sandra found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed reading on the beach, singing, planting flowers, listening to country music, spending time boating with her husband, and making memories with her son Eric. Time spent with friends and family meant the most to her, and she treasured those moments together. Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt who valued the time she spent with those closest to her.Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 8:00AM, from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM, in St. Timothy Church, Warwick, and Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans' Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 4:00-7:00PM.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
