Sandra Lee Butler

Sandra Lee “Sandi” Butler, née Schlosser, age 66, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

A beloved wife for 33 years to David R. Butler, she was a loving mother to Brandon and Justin, a devoted daughter of Lois (Bill) MacDonald and the late Richard Schlosser, and a dear sister to Lori (Nick) Kritselis, Julie (Rich Gerhard) Friedrich, the late Rick (Darlene) Schlosser, and the late Larry Schlosser. She was also a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

From her youth, Sandi competed in horseback riding and carried a lifelong passion for gardening. After a brief period modeling, she put her degree to work in media and advertising in downtown Chicago. Once she started her family, she launched her own home-based businesses and thrived as a passionate, dedicated entrepreneur. Above all, she was a devoted mother who proudly drove her sons to acting auditions in the city, cheered them at sporting events, and shared in the hobbies they loved. Her creativity and warmth touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression on family and friends alike.
