Sandra L. Morrison

Sandra L. Morrison, 82, of North Platte, passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on May 3, 1943, to Vernon and Elizabeth Jameson, she was one of six siblings and grew up in the Sandhills, graduating from Tryon High School in 1960. She later attended business school in Denver, where she married and had her first son. After the passing of her first husband, Sandra returned home. Not long after, she met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Morrison. Together they welcomed two children, Monica and Brad, and made their home in North Platte, where Sandra joined Bob in operating Snell Services.

Sandra and Bob shared a deep love for travel, exploring the country in their RV with a close circle of friends. In later years they spent winters in Green Valley, Arizona, and summers at Lake McConaughy, creating many cherished memories with family and friends. She took special delight in time spent with her grandchildren, particularly following their golf games. Sandra also enjoyed golfing with Bob, gathering with friends, and sharing an occasional Bud Light.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Morrison; her parents, Vernon and Elizabeth Jameson; her in-laws, Bus and Darlene Morrison; her son-in-law, Troy Knoedler; her sisters, Lois and Marie; and her brothers, Gary and Terry.

Sandra is survived by her brother, Tom Jameson; her children, Todd, Monica, and Brad (Brooke), all of North Platte; daughter-in-law, Deb Morrison; sister-in-law, Susan Jameson; brother-in-law, Dan Hokens; her grandchildren, Jason (Tonya) Morrison, Jesse Morrison, Chad (Diane) Knoedler, Derek (Shina) Knoedler, Kasch Morrison, Karsen Morrison and Chad Triplett; and several great-grandchildren.
