She moved to Hamilton and enjoyed being a mom, taking care of the lawn, and cleaning at the Hamilton Farm Bureau office.She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne; daughter, Lacey and Dan Sheffer; mother, Edna Smith; siblings, Pam and John Wilson, Faith and George Powell, Todd and Zelpha Smith, Randy Smith; in-laws, Alvina and LaVerne Klein, Arlyn and Erma Breuker, Mary and Roger Anderson, Lois and Dave Hightower, Gary and Joyce Dekker, Bob and Nancy Dekker; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland with Rev. Stan Scripps officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
