Corpus Christi, TX
Sandra K. Vineyard, born July 14, 1947, passed away peacefully at her home on March 11, 2026, at the age of 78.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Alex G. Sahadi and Julia Sahadi, and the cherished niece of the late Virginia Sahadi and Josephine “Bean” Ganem. Preceded in death by her daughter Christy Vineyard, her sister Sally Jo Kaminski, nephews Daryl Kaminski and Brian Kaminski, and her best friend Mary Herrington, Sandra devoted her life to her family. She found her greatest joy in raising her daughter Christy and, in later years, in the love she shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her grandchildren Claire Erwin, Haley Kennedy (Justin Kennedy), and Katherine Karakulko (Maddy Gil), and her great-grandsons Maddox Mckelvy and Hudson Kennedy. She is also survived by her brother, Dr. Jack Sahadi; her nephew John (Penny) Kaminski; her nieces Chemaine Koester (Court) and Amber Hargrove (William); and her nephews Damon Sahadi and Reagan Sahadi (Dr. Mary Margaret Ara). She leaves behind her beloved great-nieces and great-nephews, including Matthew, Corie, and Nathan Kaminski, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
Sandra will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and great-aunt. She found comfort and companionship in her faithful dog, Duke, who remained by her side until the end. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Animal Medical in Corpus Christi.
