Sandra "Luan" Griffin

Sandra “Luan” Griffin, 86, of Warsaw, passed away on March 6, 2026, at Arbor Court in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Born on June 27, 1939, in Plymouth, Illinois, Luan was the daughter of Merle and Vera (Downey) Roberts. She married Timothy Griffin on July 5, 1956, in Carthage, Illinois; he passed away on October 16, 1963. She later married Nathaniel Griffin on August 4, 1967, in Carthage, and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1991. A devoted homemaker, Luan found quiet joy in sewing during her free time.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy (Harriet) Griffin of Pennsylvania and Douglas (Holly) Griffin of Burlington, Iowa, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Luan was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, and her daughter, Kimberly Sue Wehner.
