Sandra G. Sibley

Sandra Gloss Sibley, age 83, of Valdosta, Georgia, formerly of Waycross and Milledgeville, passed peacefully on March 13, 2026, surrounded by her daughters. Born on October 26, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Robert Jordan Gloss and Jean McQuaig Baker, she lived a life marked by deep faith, generous love, and quiet devotion to God and family.

A longtime member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Valdosta, Sandra was cherished as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Bowen Sibley of Milledgeville, her mother Jean McQuaig Gloss Baker of Dublin, and her brothers Robert Jordan (Jerry) Gloss of Waycross and Mickey Gloss of Manor, Georgia.

She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Joyner Bowen and Jeanie Joyner Pringle, both of Valdosta, along with four grandchildren—Brian Bowen, Eric Bowen, Lori Beth Bowen, and Bella Pringle—and one great-grandson, RJ Pringle. She also leaves behind her sisters, Susan Lee of Statesboro, Eslie Collins of Dublin, and Carolyn Dean of Dublin, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews who will carry forward the warmth and faith she shared so freely.
