Sandra E. Boring

Sandra Elaine Boring, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on June 23, 1938, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George L. Howard and Dorothy H. (Brady) Brooks. She married Ronald S. Boring on September 25, 1954, and they shared a life together until his death on June 27, 2003.

Sandra found joy in traveling and exploring new places, tending to her garden, and listening to music. Above all, she treasured time with her family. Family dinners and holiday gatherings were especially meaningful to her, and she created countless warm memories around the table that her loved ones will cherish forever.

She is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl (wife of Douglas) Boberg of Wichita Falls, Texas; Deb Bolinger (companion of James Romig) of Waterfall, Pennsylvania; and Michelle Boring of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She was also a proud and beloved grandmother to seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom brought her tremendous joy. She will be remembered for her love of family, her warm heart, and the many memories she created with those who loved her.
