Sandra Burgess

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Burgess of Brighton, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Mayberry and Alberta Mayberry (Hogle); her spouse Jimmie Burgess; and her sisters, Linda Delehanty and Donna Gillian.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jamie Plogger (Terry) of Greenfield and Diane Burgess of Brighton; her grandson Jimmie Naylor (Kelly); her great grandchild Easton Naylor; and her siblings, Cathy Lievers, Rose Lievers, Jennifer Price, Don Mayberry (Sandy), Grover Mayberry and Jim Odem (Tammy).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (501 W Center St, Brighton, IL 62012). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to 5 A's Animal Shelter in Alton.
