She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gerald N. Marcussen; her children, Jon A. Marcussen, Gregory J. Marcussen and Julie A. James (David); and her sister Edith Drummer (William). She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Amigone Funeral Home, Inc. (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter.
