Sandra Ann Palmeri

Sandra Ann Palmeri, age 83, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born in Tampa, Florida, to the late Katherine Clesi and Julio Macias, she was raised with love by her aunt and uncle, the late Anne Clesi Cuellar and Benny Cuellar. She attended Jefferson High School and later married the love of her life, John Palmeri.

She is survived by her daughters, Melanie Palmeri Bottini and her husband Christopher, and Pamela Anne Sabino and her husband Philip, as well as her granddaughter, Jadyn Bliss Bottini. She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Ponzo and his wife Linda.

Sandra worked for the Hillsborough County School System, yet she always considered her true calling to be raising her children, caring for her granddaughter, and nurturing her godchildren. She cherished her family and friends, remained close to her Jefferson High School classmates, and found joy in cheering for the Florida Gators and the Tampa Bay Rays. Smart, fun, generous, and loving without condition, she touched everyone around her and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
