October 21, 1996— March 17, 2026
Stroudsburg, PA
Samuel Earl Brown, age 29, passed peacefully on morning of March 17, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg , Samuel grew up at Streamside Camp and Conference Center—a place that would become central to both his life and his calling.
Samuel will be deeply remembered for his servant’s heart and the joy he found in simple, meaningful things. He had a well-known love for his Carhartt gear, Eagles, John Deere tractors, and Milwaukee tools, all of which he faithfully put to use in his ministry and daily work at Streamside Camp and Conference Center. Whether fixing, building, or lending a hand wherever it was needed, Samuel lived a life marked by humility, dedication, and strength.
His presence brought comfort, laughter, and reliability to those around him. He gave freely of his time and talents, embodying a life of service that reflected his faith and love for his community.
Samuel was preceded in death by a brother; a grandfather; two Uncles; two beloved grandmothers; and other family members who have gone before him.
He is survived by his parents, Mathew and Cynthia Brown; his sister, Sarah Heater, and her husband, Zephan Heater; and his brother, Daniel Brown. He also leaves behind extended family, friends, and a community who will forever cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Berean Bible Fellowship Church in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM. A time of food and fellowship will follow the service.
Samuel’s life, though brief, was full of purpose, love, and faithful service. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
One of Samuel's wishes for the service was that people wear something that is comfortable and reminds them of him!
