He was predeceased by: his mother Ola King; and his daughter Trinal Fields. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Brooks; his daughter Tuawond Lattimore (Mike); his sisters, Mary Brooks and Rebecca King; his cousins, Wanda Dale Smith, Francine Brooks, Ricky Brooks and Roger Bruce; Joyce Ford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel (715 Augusta St, Greenville, SC 29605). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beasley Funeral Home - Greenville (715 Augusta St, Greenville, SC 29605).
