Sammie Harris, Jr., age 64, of Gray Court, South Carolina, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Wessie L. Workman Harris and the late Sammie Harris, Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Wessie L. Harris; his son, Tavares Harris; his daughter, Ashley Zachary; two brothers, Michael Harris and Willie Harris; three sisters, Debra Harris Ivey, Angionette Harris, and Kimber Harris Boyd; and three grandchildren.
Sammie will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the quiet strength he brought to their lives.
