Salvatore Tartaglia

Salvatore Tartaglia passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at the age of 94, following heart failure. Born on March 3, 1932, he lived a life defined by hard work, quiet dignity, and deep devotion to his family.

Salvatore built a long career as a general contractor, where his skill and commitment to craftsmanship were evident in everything he did. In later years he worked at Drew Realty and in the parts department at Watertown Ford. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

He found great joy in camping across the country with his family in their RV, exploring the American landscape. He was also an avid collector of model trains and took quiet satisfaction in tending to his collection. Those who knew him will remember his lifelong passion for fixing things and his steady, dependable presence.

Salvatore is lovingly survived by his wife, Joanne; his sons, Kenneth and Robert; and his grandson, Richard. He was the cornerstone of his family, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
