Salvador Tavera Tovar passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on March 13, 1932, he lived a life defined by hard work, integrity, and deep respect for others. A man of firm principles and generous heart, Salvador was known for his kindness, perseverance, and unwavering dedication to his family.
He was a devoted son, loving husband, caring brother, cherished uncle, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, loyal friend, and above all, a truly wonderful father. His life was guided by his love for his family and his commitment to always doing what was right. Those who knew him will remember his example of effort, honesty, and unconditional love.
Salvador is survived by his wife, María de Jesús, and their children: Lupita Tavera, Rocío Tavera, Minerva Tavera, Salvador Tavera (Richy), and Anabel Tavera. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Martha Alejandra Tavera, who remained forever in his heart. He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren—Miguel, Alejandra, Itze, Karen, Alejandro, Martha Rubí, Eduardo, Estefanía, Minerva, Janet, Ricardo, Jazmín, David, and Sarah—and four great-grandchildren: Brynlee, Ariel, Donovan, and Roxanna, all of whom will carry his memory with great love.
His children hold dear the shared moments and lessons he gave them, treasures that will remain in their hearts forever. Salvador’s legacy of hard work, respect, and goodness will continue to live on in everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
