She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Abbott and Ruth Abbott; her sister Nancy; her sister-in-law Mary Abbott; her sister Suzanne Kissel; and her brother-in-law Ron Kissel.

She is survived by: her husband Mike Byro; her children, Shannon Kauski and Andy Abner; her daughter-in-law Katie Abner; her stepson Jonathan Byro (Diane); her grandchildren, Sam Kauski, Max Kauski (Velvet), Sadie Bradford (Parker), Andrew Abner, Liam Abner and Charlie Abner; her great grandchildren, Santino Kauski and Beau Bradford; and her brother Bill Abbott. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Healy Chapel (332 W Downer Pl, Aurora, IL 60506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
