1SGT (Ret) Saipan Taulago Te'o, 70, of St. Robert, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Born and raised with deep family roots, Saipan served his country with distinction as a First Sergeant in the United States Army before retiring. He built a life centered on love and commitment, sharing more than four decades with his devoted wife, Dareen Lee Te'o. Together they raised two children, Andrea Te'o-Gillen and her husband Christopher of Waynesville, Missouri, and Manu Te'o and his wife Lexie of New Bloomfield, Missouri. Saipan took great joy in his five grandchildren—Savannah Te'o, Fuaau To'a Te'o-Gillen, Leilee Te'o, Manu Te'o Jr., and Lualani Carter—cherishing every moment spent with them. He remained close to his many brothers and sisters, as well as a wide circle of extended family and friends who will remember his steady presence and quiet strength.
