She was born on November 25, 1922, to Charlie and Annie Irving of Appomattox, VA.She was a member of First Baptist Church, Appomattox, Virginia and retired from the Appomattox Garment Factory. Ruth loved baking, listening to the Blues, dancing in her younger days, driving her blue Mustang and spending time with her family.Ruth is preceded in death by her parents Charlie Edward and Annie Sue Irving; one brother, Edward Irving; grandson, Robert Pernell Hunter; great-grandson Samuel H. Elliott and her beloved dog Bingo.She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Loretta (Thurman) Williams; son, Robert (Virginia) Hunter; her nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, family and friends.Thanks to her devoted caregivers; Brittany, Tara, Nikki, Dee, her son-in-law Thurman, grandson Marcel and her granddaughters Zandra and Denise.
