Ruth May York

The passing of Ruth May York of Apple Valley, California leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 5, 2026 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Johanna Revett; and her grandson Trevor. She is survived by: her sisters, Norah, Patricia and Jean; her husband Jon York; her children, Jacqueline, Kevin and Michael; and her grandchildren, Colin, Nicole, Wesley, Tessa, Miguel and Paige. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and her three sisters.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church (18386 Corwin Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92307). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Hills Mortuary (24000 Waalew Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92307). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 25th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church (18386 Corwin Rd, Apple Valley, CA 92307).
