Ruth M. Edwardsen

Ruth M. Edwardsen, age 94, of Oshkosh, passed away on March 12, 2026 at Eden Vista in Oshkosh. Born on May 15, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late William and Anne (Hintz) Golabiewski. On March 8, 1952, Ruth married Ervin H. Edwardsen in Milwaukee, beginning a union that would span decades.

Ruth is remembered fondly by her two daughters, Nicki Wingate of Johannesburg, South Africa, and Tami Barikmo of Winneconne, as well as her grandson, Nick (Yuri) Barikmo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ervin, and her two sons-in-law, Jay Wingate and John Barikmo.

A celebration of her life was held on Monday, April 6, 2024 from 12 pm until 3 pm at Venue 404 in Oshkosh. Private committal services took place at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
