Ruth would strike up a conversation with anyone she met, making strangers feel like friends in moments. She cared deeply about animals and supported WWF, the Humane Society, and any organization that protected them. In her later years she found great joy and community at Morningstar Goldenridge, where she was embraced and loved.Ruth was baptized as a Christian in April 2025, a milestone that brought her peace and deepened her sense of wonder about life and what comes next. She made quilts to wrap people in warmth, chatted with strangers to brighten their day, and loved her family and Cleo with everything she had. She will be remembered as the friendliest person in any room, the one who always had time to listen, create, and care.In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Humane Society, WWF, or a local animal rescue organization she loved. Her light continues in every quilt she stitched, every conversation she started, and every heart she touched. Rest in peace, Grammie.
