Ruth "Arlene" Joyce, 85LA GRANGERuth "Arlene" Joyce, 85, of La Grange, Ky., passed away on March 12, 2026. Arlene was born on Aug. 21, 1940, in Indianapolis, Ind., to the late Raphael and Ruth Zimmerman.She is survived by her husband, Paul Joyce and her children, Linda Simpson (David), Stephen Joyce, Susan Walker (Alan), Christin Miller (Alan) and Alicia Doligale (Bob). Arlene was blessed with many grandchildren, Jake (Hallie), Luke, Joseph (Caroline) and Leah Simpson, Chris (Laura) and Whitney Walker, Hannah (Trent) Fiene, Logan and Nate Miller and Hailey (Levi) Lake and Kellie (Jim), Jack, Carly and Thomas Doligale. She was also blessed with several great-grandchildren, Teddy Lake, Oliver Alan Fiene, Evelyn and Poppy Doligale and Baby Boy Simpson, who will be joining the family in July 2026.Arlene loved children, crafting and sewing, and she had a great love for animals. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was known as the most loving, kind and patient mother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Louisville Memorial Gardens East at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18 from 4-7 p.m. and again on Thursday, March 19, from 12-1 p.m. with burial immediately afterward the services.
