Ruth Irene Carter

We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2026, at the age of 73, Ruth Irene Carter of Lebanon, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Irene Carter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles Stathers and Ruth Elaine Stathers (Plass); her husband Randy Carter; and her sister-in-law Rita Stathers. She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Marts McClain; her son-in-law Jonathan McClain; her grandchildren, Aubrey, Lauren and Seth McClain; her siblings, Clara S. Stathers (Sue), Charles W. Stathers (Debbie), Debra K. Amundson (Missie) and John Stathers; her aunts, Carol Groce (Susie) and Shirley Davis; and her uncle Keith Stathers (Carol).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lebanon Eagles Lodge.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's & Dementia Association in Renie's memory.
