She grew up on the family farm where she was always helping her dad with the daily chores of running a farm.Ruth went to Sioux City, Iowa for Nursing School. It is there where she met and later married Lyle Ronfeldt. They had 2 sons together, Mark and Timothy.In1957 they moved their small family to Overland Park, Kansas. Ruth was a long time nurse at Saint Luke's Hospital in Downtown Kansas City. She was the head of the nursing department.She passed away in her home on February 15, 2026 with loved ones near.She is preceded in death by her husband Lyle, son Mark, and her 3 siblings.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
