Born on June 6, 1933 in Philipsburg PA to James Arnold and Elmira (Lloyd) Myers, Ruth lived a remarkable life filled with love, resilience, and devotion to her family. Ruth married Alfred Craft Jr. in Maryland in 1952, beginning a union that spanned an incredible 74 years. As an Army wife for 30 years, she supported her husband's military career while raising their family with strength and determination. Together, they built a legacy of love and cherished memories. Ruth is survived by her beloved husband Alfred of Powell, TN; her children Robert (Laura) Craft of Dallas, TX; Wayne (Tania) Craft of Palm Bay, FL; Shirley (John C.) She was also a proud grandmother to Sarah, Destiny, Nora, Alisa, Benjamin, Nicholas, Jessica, Shauna, Eric, Joshua, and Sebastian; great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandmother to two. She was predeceased by her daughter Donna, her parents, her sisters Mary and Betty and her brother Charles. Known for her feisty spirit and deep love for her family, Ruth had a passion for genealogy and enjoyed trips to the casino. Her vibrant personality and the secrets she carried made her truly unforgettable to those who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held in Georgia on June 6, 2026-what would have been Ruth's 93rd birthday-to honor her memory and the extraordinary life she led. Ruth's legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. May her memory bring comfort and inspiration to all who loved her.
