Ruth Ann Pridemore

Ruth Ann Pridemore, age 81, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on October 5, 1944, in Willard to the late Richard Smith and Ruth (Wilson) Moomaw, she lived a life marked by quiet joys and steady devotion to the people and activities she loved.

Ruth was an avid competitive bowler at Dynasty Lanes, where she achieved several perfect 300 games. She enjoyed keeping her mind sharp with puzzles and games, swimming at the Shelby Y with her niece, and relaxing with her beloved animals while watching her favorite crime shows and the soap opera Days of Our Lives.

She is survived by her children, Tonya Lee Orr, William Eric Pridemore, Lisa Marie Barnett, and Jason Lee Pridemore; her grandchildren, Dustin Pridemore, Timothy Edwards, Kristin Edwards Privette, Ethan Shepherd, Brandon Alexzander Lee Pridemore, Krista Evelyn Barnett, and Eliza Rae Pridemore; two great-grandchildren, Lauralye Blake Pridemore and Paisley Lee Pridemore; and her special niece, Debbie (Hershel) Rowe, along with numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith K. (Pastor Merlin) Dye, in addition to her parents.

Per Ruth’s wishes, she will be laid to rest beside her father at Attica Cemetery.
