Ruth Ann Mihalow

Ruth Ann Mihalow of Pinehurst, North Carolina, passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 71. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Solley (Taylor); her husband, Dennis Mihalow; her brother, Daniel; her parents-in-law, Andrew and Zida Mihalow; her siblings-in-law, Leo Murphy, Richard, John, Nicholas, Joseph, and Brenda Solley; and her niece, Stacie Mihalow Sheikh.

Ruth Ann is survived by her daughter, Valerie; her granddaughters, Mikayla, Ashlyn, Lucy, and Gracie; her siblings, William (Patricia), Shirley Murphy, Edward (Deborah), and Larry; and her siblings-in-law, Gary, Andrew (Margaret), Victor (Teresa), Darleen, Linda “Curly” Flora (Paul), Pamela (Bruce), and Bonnie (Kevin). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She will be remembered for the love she held for her family and the quiet strength she brought to those closest to her.
