Ruth Ann Lindsey

Ruth Ann Lindsey, 79, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Born on July 29, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Luther and Jeanette Hartline Myers, Ruth lived a life centered on caring for others and cherishing her family.

She worked as a CNA at North McKinney Health and Rehab and was a longtime member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. Those who knew her remember her devoted spirit and the steady love she showed to her children and extended family.

Ruth is survived by her sons, John August Patrick Johnson, Roy Dale Johnson, and John Brinkley, Jr.; her daughters, Wendy Louise Wise, Sandra Lee McCarter, and Mary Alice Farrow; her brother, Luther LeeRoy Myers; her sister, Donna Bess; and her grandchildren, Luther James Wise, Brandy Kay Abrams, Cortney Evans, Misty McCarter, Kara Johnson, Chris Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Nicolas Farrow, Terry Don McCarter, Justin Farrow, Bryan Farrow, Jordan Johnson, and Shantell Grace, along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Ethel Johnson, Delores Fields, Doris Schultz, and Jerry Johnson.
