Ruth was born on March 15, 1944, in Portland, Indiana, to Arden and Catherine (Bricher) Pease.Ruth worked for her father at Pease Machine & Tool. She was a member of the Avilla American Legion Post 240. Ruth often took flower arrangements to residents at Sacred Heart Nursing Home.Surviving Ruth are her children Jerry (Cassidy) Egolf, of South Milford, Indiana, and Rhonda (Lonnie Bolinger) Egolf, of Syracuse, Indiana; brothers Kenneth (Anna) Pease, of El Paso, Texas, Mike Pease, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Tim (Julie) Pease, of Kendallville; sisters Sandy (Tom) Mast, of Avilla, Indiana, Patricia (Dick) Rahrer, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Debbie Diehl, of Kendallville; grandchildren Jayde (Marc) Musseleman, Chayse (Michelle) Egolf, Kynzie Egolf, Santana (Robby) Cottrell, Tangy Rugg, Clayton Rugg, Dalton Collingsworth, Tosha Williams, and Kylee Potts; and several great-grandchildren.Preceding Ruth in death are her parents Arden and Catherine Pease, daughter Dana Potts, and sister-in-law Bobby Pease.There will be no services at this time.Care of the Egolf family by Harper Funeral Homes Albion & Avilla.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Ruth Ann Egolf, please visit our floral store.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
