A U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and retired assembly technician with Uniroyal Corporation, he was the son of the late Edward and Eva Baker Fye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all seventeen of his brothers and sisters.Mr. Fye is survived by his spouse of over 61 years, Genevieveann Last Fye of McMinnville, TN; son Russell (Barbara) Fye, Jr.; granddaughters, Bethany (Seth) Fye-Mesaros and Marissa Fye and many other family and friends.Funeral service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Stoughton, WI on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lutheran South Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the church.
