Russell Sam Stabile

Russell Sam Stabile, age 83, passed away on March 8, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou (née Martin).

A devoted family man, Russell was the loving father of Susan Fiorillo (Steve), Karen Mulroy (Tom), Christine Stabile, and Robert Stabile (Chuck La Chance). He was the proud and loving Papa of Sean and Megan Mulroy and Maria and Paul Fiorillo. He is also survived by his brother Anthony Stabile (Brenda) and was preceded in death by his sister Rosemary Ales (Pat).

Russell was a vibrant soul whose competitive spirit and love for life made him truly one of a kind. An accomplished athlete, he excelled in football, track, hockey, and basketball. He loved playing games, especially cards, where his playfully competitive nature created lasting bonds with family and friends. His passion for cooking was equally profound; he cherished every moment spent at the table, creating meals and telling stories that brought people together. Russell was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved, sharing food, laughter, and conversation. With a natural gift for storytelling, he could light up any room and will be remembered for his deep love of people, food, and life itself.
