Russell Lee Davis

Russell L. Davis of Palm Springs, California, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, at the age of 89. Born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, he graduated from Oskaloosa High School and later from the University of Iowa, where he was a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity.

Russ began his career at Keystone Steel and Wire as General Sales Manager. His work brought him to California, where he enjoyed a long and successful sales career with companies including Oklahoma Steel and, most recently, Fibrestar, selling steel products.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Thelma Davis, and his brothers, Rex and Don Davis. He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Turpin, as well as several nieces and a nephew.

Russell will be remembered fondly by many friends in the Palm Springs area, where he lived for many years. A private graveside service will be held by the family.
