He is survived by: his son Jason Burns (Kay); his grandchildren, John, Kasey and Klaire; and his siblings, Donnie Burns (Geraldine), Debra Collins and Joey Burns (Vicki). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel (402 Richmond Rd, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
