He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence. He was 96.Visiting on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Donaldsonville from 10:00 a.m. until religious services at 12:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Charles R. Brown, Sr. Interment in church cemetery.Survived by his beloved wife, Vivian Wilson Collins. His son, Raymond (Juanita Dianne Devore) Collins, Sr. Daughters, Sharia Lee Roy, (Deceased) Collins, Debby Collins, and Aisha (Trevlon) Noble. Grandchildren, Courtney DeRon Collins, LaTedra Collins, Wonestta (Etienne) Harry and Raymond Collins, Jr., and Aria Noble. Godchildren, Eloise Collins Scott, Wayne Landix and George Wilson. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Lou Ethel Collins and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Preceded in death by his parents, Rush Collins, Sr. and Leontine Brooks Collins. His siblings, Lionel Collins and Percy Collins. Emma (Wilson) Comeaux, Jr., Albertha Collins Wilson, Lillie Mae (Clifton) Joseph, Sr., and Leontine Collins (Joseph) Craig. Sisters-in-law, Freda (Murry) Landix, Cleotha (Ferdinand) Wilson, Thelma (Allen) Nicholas, Paul Wilson and James C.
