Rupert Delilah Baker

Rupert Delilah Baker of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 83. Known for his warmth and kindness, Rupert touched countless lives and created memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Baker and Beryl Young Baker, and his brothers, Sterling and Colin Baker. He is survived by his wife, Millicent Baker; his mother-in-law, Martha Edwards; his children, Andrew Baker (Maxine), Angela Phillips-Dean (Melvin), and Sandra Basco (Tony); his grandchildren, Andrae Phillips, Samantha Phillips, Nichola Basco, Melkayla Dean, and Renee Price; his great-grandchildren, Dylan and Nia-Shae; his sisters, Ersentia Dacas, Joyce Stanford, and Marva Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Norma, Verna, Audrey, Perline, Dorothy, Margaret, Radlin, and Edgar. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
