Ruby Mae Pierre

Ruby Mae Pierre passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of ninety-seven. Born to Alex and Laura Pierre, she lived a long and full life, cherished by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Reginald J. and Aletha S. Jordan of Augusta, Georgia; her daughter and son-in-law, Yolanda B. and Stanley Burds; her grandchildren, Kietra Winn (Brian), Tabeeka Thierry (Overton, Esq.), Esop Jordan (Kellie), and Kali Caldwell; and her great-grandchildren, Jamal, Jeremy (Brionna), Jonathan Jordan, and Aria Caldwell. Ruby also leaves behind a wide circle of other relatives and friends who held her dear.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: sisters Evelyn Gaskin, Irma Curry, Alma Reed, Albertha Pierre, and Hilda Holloman; and brothers Webster, James, Joseph, and Junius Pierre.

Ruby’s memory will remain a source of comfort and connection for all who knew and loved her.
