Ruby Louise Padgett

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Robey Sr. and Lavinia Edwards-Robey; her siblings, Ruth Robey (Betty), Harry (Preach), Charles (Bobby), Roy and Roger Robey; her son Steven Wayne Padgett Sr.; her grandson Mikey Padgett; her great grandchild Alia Watson; and the father of her children Elton Padgett.

She is survived by: her children, Mike (Carol), Charlie (Teri), John Padgett (Kaye), Carol Chaney and Gina McIntire (Mickey); and her grandchildren, Wayne Padgett Jr. (Kim), Rusty Padgett (Christee), Tommy Clancey, Jake Weil (Sara), Shelia Watson (Jason), Niki Sparks (Mark), Tiffany Badeaux, Kevin Padgett (Nina), Katrina Herbert (Ivan), Eddie Padgett, Candis Black (Billy), Branden Padgett (Carly), Joe Wallace (Aidsha), Lisa Wallace, Jon Wallace, Angela Wallace, Mike McIntire (Paige), Nick McIntire (Jamie), Michelle Rawlings (Garrett), Krystyn Padgett and Vance Padgett (Maria). She is also survived by 45 great grandchildren, 8 great- great grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (100 Village St, Waldorf, MD 20602). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens (3270 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676).
