Ruben Soliz, 63, of Carrizo Springs, Texas, passed away on March 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Teresa Mejia Bustos Soliz and Gabino Soliz; brothers Tomas Soliz and Cirildo Soliz; and sisters Maria Elena Espino Soliz and Doria Ella Soliz.
Ruben is survived by his daughters, Lisette Soliz Story and Maria Isabel Soliz Perez; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers Gabino Soliz Jr., Oscar Soliz, and Pablo Soliz; and sisters Virginia Soliz, Janie Soliz Salazar, Rosie Soliz Buenarosto, and Silvia Soliz.
He will be remembered as a devoted father and grandfather whose quiet strength and deep love for his family remained constant throughout his life.
