Royce Berryhill ObituaryPublished by Legacy on Feb. 24, 2026.Royce Arnold Berryhill, 82, of Nesbit MS passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born in Houston, MS on July 13, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold William Berryhill and Rabel Ione Mooneyham Berryhill and his brother Jimmy Dale Berryhill. He retired from Conwood Corporation, the Memphis branch of RJ Reynolds as a chemical mixer. He was survived by his wife of 62 years Bobbi Reece Berryhill and his 2 children Sheri Howard (Guy) and Andy Berryhill, one granddaughter Samantha Cladwell (Daniel) and great grandson William Howard Caldwell.He was an avid hunter and fisherman who found his greatest peace and joy in the outdoors. Whether in a deer stand at dawn or casting a line into quiet waters, he treasured the time he spent in nature. Many of his happiest moments were shared with close friends, swapping stories, laughter, and lessons learned over countless hours outside.More than anything, he valued the friendships he built and the family he loved so deeply. He had a gift for mentoring and teaching young people, patiently sharing his knowledge, skills, and wisdom. Through his guidance, he shaped not only capable outdoorsmen and women, but strong, respectful individuals. He was a devoted and long time member of First Baptist Church - Nesbit.
