Roy Lee Riley

Roy Lee Riley, 70, of Haskell, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in Abilene, Texas. Born on March 7, 1956, in Haskell, he was the son of the late Tom Riley and Odessa Thomas Riley. A lifelong resident of his hometown, Roy Lee worked for many years at the local cotton gins.

In his younger years, he found joy in playing basketball and baseball. As time went on, he came to cherish quieter moments spent fishing and playing dominoes with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Riley.

Roy Lee is survived by his son, Edward Collins of Wichita Falls; his daughter, Crystal Wallace of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; his siblings, Daniel Riley of Haskell, Iris Riley of Haskell, W.T. Riley of Los Angeles, California, Otis Riley of Los Angeles, California, and Edward Riley and his wife, Lady Ruth Riley, of Abilene; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will remember him fondly.
