Roy Lee Garrison

Roy Lee Garrison, age 69, of Rogersville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2026. Born on August 28, 1956, in Waynesville, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Wanda Garrison.

Roy was a man of deep faith who placed God at the center of his life. A longtime member of Ebbing and Flowing Spring Church in Rogersville, he found great purpose in helping others. His professional career focused on technological innovations that protected and advanced environmental causes, during which he secured ten patents and played a key role in the construction of numerous industrial facilities. He was also a gifted musician who played piano and violin, wrote worship lyrics, and served joyfully in worship ministry. Throughout his life, Roy cherished the thrill of fast automobiles and followed racing at drag strips, dirt tracks, and superspeedways with genuine enthusiasm.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachel (David); his sister, Joan (Monte); his god-daughter, Ashley; and his grandchildren, David, Michael, Aurora, and Hudson, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him always.
