Roy Lee Edwards Jr.

Roy Lee Edwards Jr., age 78, of Austin, Arkansas, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born on October 14, 1947, in Little Rock to the late Roy Lee Edwards Sr. and Lillian Virgil Edwards of North Little Rock, Roy was a devoted family man who cherished his wife and children throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Rusty Edwards. Roy is survived by his wife, Jeannie Edwards of Austin; his daughters, Brittany Adam of Austin and Ashley Adam (Jeff) of Searcy; grandsons Logan (Rebecca), Casey, Curt, and Kyle; great-granddaughter Heather; his sister, Sandra Kay Edwards of North Little Rock; and a host of extended family and friends.

Roy proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 1967 to 1972. He later enjoyed a long career with AT&T, retiring after 42 years of service.
