Roy Elliott Davis

Roy Elliott Davis, age 89 of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on March 9, 2026. A native of Williamson County, Elliott graduated from Hillsboro High School and went on to enjoy a long career as a truck driver with Parman Oil Company. After retiring from that role, he began a second career with the Williamson County Highway Department, where he continued to serve his community for many years. He was a faithful member of West Main Church of Christ throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Annette McCord Davis; his son, Timothy E. Davis; his parents, Roy E. and Amanda Virginia Overby Davis; and his brothers, John Everett Davis and William Earl Davis.

Elliott is survived by his daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Davis Harris and her husband Ronnie; his grandchildren, Dustin James Anderson and his wife Rachael, and Roy Jonathan Davis and his wife Delaney; his great-grandchildren, Wyatt James Anderson and Eli Davis; his daughter-in-law, Pam Mangrum Davis; and several nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as a devoted family man whose quiet strength and steadfast presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
