He is survived by: his children, Leroy Gifford (Rogerwene), Donnell Gifford and Teresa Dunn (Bubba); his grandchildren, Catherine, Booker, Brandon, Ariana, Jasmine and Terrell; his great grandchildren, Davyana, Nakyla and Nova; his wife Dottie Gifford; his stepdaughter Carolyn Holt; and his siblings-in-law, Cladie Scruggs, Shirley Daniel and Thomas Edmondson.

Viewing will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (706 Monroe St, Nashville, TN 37208). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mark MB Church (3903 Milford Rd, Nashville, TN 37218). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
