Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Roy spent most of his life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where he attended Mississippi City United Methodist Church.Roy found joy in crossword puzzles, game shows, and all kinds of sports. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates, and he took great pleasure in cheering on his favorite teams.
