Roxanne Arthur, 69, of Peletier, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Carteret Health Care.
A celebration of Roxanne’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 14th at Munden Funeral Home.
Roxanne was born on February 5, 1957, in Wilson, NC, to the late Joseph Thomas “Tommy” Trevathan Sr. and Mae Ruth Trevathan. A proud North Carolina native, she spent much of her life along the Crystal Coast and was raised on Emerald Isle, a place that always held a special place in her heart.
Roxanne loved the outdoors, spending time at the beach and walking nature trails. She also had a creative spirit and especially enjoyed crocheting, often sharing her handmade creations with those she loved.
Her faith was an important part of her life. Roxanne loved the Lord and attended Glad Tidings Church in years past.
Above all else, Roxanne cherished her family. Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with those she loved.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Jeffrey Arthur; daughter, Andrea Breann Arthur of Peletier, NC; son, Shane Devin Arthur of Wilmington, NC; sister, Dawn Cottle of Stella, NC; brother, Joseph “Joey” Trevathan Jr. (Terri) of O‘ahu, HI; brother-in-law, Barry Arthur; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Roxanne was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Clarence Cottle and Giles Arthur.
