September 6, 1967— March 6, 2026
Hainesport, NJ
Ross H. Allison, 58, of Hainesport and Moorestown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, from complications of liver cancer, surrounded by his family.
Born on September 6, 1967, in Mount Holly, New Jersey, to Ross and Carol Allison, Ross was a devoted sports fan who proudly supported the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies. A passionate NASCAR enthusiast, he served for many years as the “Comish” of his fantasy NASCAR league. Above all, he took the greatest pride in his sons, Jordan and Hunter, who brought him constant joy. He also cherished time with his beloved black Labrador, Lily, whom he affectionately called his “fur daughter.” Ross found simple pleasure in good naps, trips to Ocean City, and quiet afternoons watching sports on television. Known for his caring nature and practical wisdom, he was always looking out for others and quick to offer a helping hand.
Ross dedicated nearly forty years to his role as Head Custodian at the Upper Elementary School in Moorestown. He approached his work with pride and a strong ethic, ensuring the building remained safe, efficient, and welcoming for students and staff alike.
He is survived by his wife, Heather (McGeorge) Allison, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage; his sons, Jordan and Hunter; his mother, Carol Allison; and his sister, Donna Wood. He was predeceased by his father.
